In fiscal 2010/11, the BC Community Futures Program disbursed 568 loans, totaling $29.4 million and leveraging an additional $64 million, creating and maintaining 2,308 jobs. An additional 2320 jobs were impacted through other services. This represents a 19% increase in job impacted in one year.
Since fiscal its beginning in 1986, to the end of 2010/11, Community Futures in British Columbia disbursed 12010 loans, totaling $360.2 million, and leveraging an additional 683 million.
As of April 2011, Community Futures in BC has grown and leveraged the federal government’s original contribution to our lending pool of $64.7 million to an impressive $181.5 million.
