Moon Cat Magicals: Everyday Magic

WHALETOWN - Nestled in the small coastal community of Whaletown, BC, Connie Quayle has taken her passion for nature to a whole new level. Spending her childhood exploring and foraging in Vancouver Island forests and on beaches, Connie is no stranger to the important part plants play in medicine and the effects they can have.

"I’ve taken a very slow approach by choice as I learn and heal, investing back into my business only what I earn from sales and what I have the capacity to maintain…and for many people with disabilities that sort of patience and dedication is just part of how we live our lives."
- Connie Quayle, Moon Cat Magicals Owner

Starting her herbalism journey in the mid-90s, she began to explore the metaphysical properties of plants as part of her healing journey after a series of abuses. Through years of study and experimentation, Connie began crafting potions and tinctures to help others. Her current offerings include potions for Love, Hope, Boundaries, and Protection. All of the plants Connie uses are harvested from organic gardens and clean wild spaces.

What's Next?

Connie continues to craft new herbal remedies for her customers which are available for purchase from her website and at the various markets she attends. Through Moon Cat Magicals and her work as a counsellor at Rainbow’s Edge, she hopes to support those who are partaking in their own healing or learning journeys.
