Cheryl Johnson

Executive Director

Cheryl has a proven track record of growing programs, services and stakeholder relations. Combined with her passion for small business, community economic development and non -profit management, her strength as a networker and advocate of the CF program will be an asset to the BC CF Network.   

Garry Angus

Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) Provincial Coordinator

As Provincial Coordinator for the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program, Garry supports the individual Community Futures offices in delivering the program.  Garry serves the Community Futures membership as their “in-house” resource person as they assist entrepreneurs with disabilities or chronic health conditions take their business plans from paper to practice.  His work in healthcare and with disability organizations has armed him with a depth of understanding and resources for this purpose.

Kim Ho


In her role, Kim is responsible for all financial aspects for Community Futures British Columbia.  She has many years of experiences working in non profit and charitable organizations.  In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, fruit and veggie carving.

Catherine Simmons

Committee and Board Liaison

As the Committee and Board Liaison, Catherine provides administrative support to the Board and various committees associated with Community Futures BC. Originally from the UK, Catherine immigrated to Canada in 2002 and has lived in Mission BC since that time.

Her background is in Biotech project support and general administration. She has a particular interest in community development and is a member of the local Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Club and Toastmasters Club, as well as a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley. Catherine is also a keen amateur photographer.

Vanessa Tveitane

Communications and Office Administrator

As the Communications and Office Administrator at Community Futures British Columbia, Vanessa has a varied slate of responsibilities. Originally from Kamloops, Vanessa has lived in Victoria, Ottawa and Brussels. She has worked at the Tourism Industry Association of Canada as well as the Fisheries Council of Canada. Vanessa enjoys running, cycling and being in the outdoors.
