October: A Month for Entrepreneurs to Thrive
October 2025
The Community Futures BC blog is also regularly featured in the Business Examiner Digital Magazine.
October is Small Business Month in British Columbia, a time to recognize the vital role small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play in driving the province’s economy. Small businesses account for 57% of private-sector jobs in B.C., fueling innovation, employment, and strong local communities.
This month isn’t just about recognition, it’s about action. It’s an opportunity for entrepreneurs to access resources, sharpen strategies, and strengthen their businesses for long-term success.
