CFBC supports its 34 Community Futures offices across BC by providing access to specialized programs, client referral opportunities, and valuable resources, including economic emergency tools from the Rural Resiliency Initiative. We offer centralized services and serve as the unified voice of the organization. Through our Managers’ Representatives on the Board, we actively listen to our members and respond to their needs—staying true to our grassroots foundation.

The RRI has supports to help your CF and your business community to navigate economic disruptions and disasters - before, during and after. Learn the basics of emergency management in B.C., actionable steps to support your businesses, and how to protect your own CF.

Workshops and Webinars for CF Staff

Provided By: Community Futures BC - myCommunityFutures (myCF)

CF Staff are eligible to participate in learning opportunities from myCommunityFutures,free of charge!* Start by creating or opening an existing account for your CF and adding yourself to the empoyees list. Next, locate your desired webinar/workshop while logged in and resgister.

*Must be from a participating CF office to attend free of charge. See eligibility list on myCF website home page (scroll down). Otherwise available for a small fee.

CFBC Services for Clients

Provided By: Community Futures BC

The following services are provided by CFBC's Resource Hub and available for your clients.

Accessible Entrepreneurship Services: Programs and Resources for persons facing barriers to entrepreneurship, including persons with a disability.

Export Advisor: Market growth advising and services for clients with goods or services that could be exported beyond local borders.

Indigenous Entrepreneurship: Familiarize with the work being done form your enarest Indigenous-serving office, and refer Indigenous, Metis and Inuit clients for further supports.

myCommunityFutures (online learning): Workshops and Webinars on a variety of topics for startups and entrepreneurs. Also suitable for managers of social enterprises.

myCommunityFutures (consulting): 1-on-1 consulting services for established businesses. Ask an expert!

The Rural Resiliency Initiative: Economic Emergency Resources for businesses before, during and after an economic disruption or disaster.

Venture Connect: Inform startup clients that there is an option for a buy-up (buying a business), versus startup through purchasing an existing business. Refer clients nearing business retirement that there are services to help them sell. Venture Connect services are free of charge for BC-based businesses via the BC Business Match program until March 2026.
